The Diabetes Safety Organisations mission is to achieve better outcomes for people living with diabetes and prevention of diabetes by educating employers on the business benefits of diabetes safety. The Diabetes Safety Organisations provides support to employers to conduct risk assessments and review workplace policies and practices. In addition, they provide manager and employee training on the impact of diabetes on work and the rights and obligations of employers and employees. The Diabetes Safety Organisations provides Diabetes Safe accreditation to organisations that put in place specific measures to ensure a diabetes safe workplace.
